At Make & Grow Workshops, our mission is to empower learners through hands-on, practical experiences that build confidence, creativity, and teamwork. We believe learning by doing nurtures both personal growth and respect for the natural world. By using recycled and sustainably sourced materials wherever possible, we inspire young people to make, create, and care for the environment, reducing waste and growing a greener future together.
We also believe that when a learner achieves a win, no matter how small, it becomes a powerful foundation for future success. That first moment of achievement can open the door to confidence, motivation, and a willingness to try again. Our workshops are designed to create these positive starting points, helping learners build momentum, trust in their abilities, and pride in what they can accomplish.
What We Offer
Make & Grow Workshops bring creative, hands-on learning directly to your school. We deliver inclusive DIY and outdoor projects that build practical skills, confidence, and teamwork while connecting learners with nature. Our sessions can be tailored to fit your setting, from one-off curriculum-linked workshops to ongoing programmes and after-school clubs. We also offer flexible EOTAS sessions (Education Other Than At School), providing personalised, interest-led projects for learners who thrive outside of a traditional classroom. Whether your learners are building birdhouses, garden planters, or their own unique creations, every Make & Grow project is designed to be engaging, educational, and accessible for all abilities.
